setting offside trap

what's the best way to set it? how many players at the back and how to put them? + arrows and everything also is man marking that effective? i find defense so weak in we8

i dont know but i use man marking!! it's a good tactic

attack attitude : left arrow only (all 4 CB)
defence attitude : high (all)
zonal marking
on the game try hard to put the cursor on midfield player while defending !

In the Formation Menu you have STRATEGIES option. Once you open it, it will give you the list of about 10 different strategies. One of 'em is OFFSIDE TRAP. Move X or any other button next to it to assign the button.
Then in the game you load the strategy by pressing L2+assigned button. (You will see X or any other button in the left of right bottom corner depending on which side you attack.)

that's all good thanks, its just the defense is really stupid when playing against humans, it irritates me seeing my friends coming past my players all the time, thanks again

for me...i'm using semi auto (c/attack, zone press, )...and offside trap i'm using L2 button...when the opposite palyers...make a move or long passes, quickly activate it...but u must have good player at back..!!
