How do you scan shirts into the game?

every option file around either has the big 4 clubs home and away or them plus city, blackburn, west ham and villa but i want to put the sunderland kit in

sorry if its a stupid question but i'm new to this modding thing, and i had a search of the forum but couldn't find anything explaining this
