While looking at some movies of the game in motion, I noticed what seemed to be players sliding across the pitch whilst running, shooting etc. Granted, the movies were of slo-mo replays, which makes things more notceable. I don't recall seeing the skating in WEI7 US, the version I have. I'm contemplating importing the japanese version but the skating thing just might kill the game for me. Is it noticeable at normal gameplay speed? I love this game so much, I want the best version available.

yeh they often do that so the animation fits and the players actually make contact with the ball (most of the time)
i had one just yesterday do the moonwalk for about 2 metres when a cross came in from the right so he could volley it, i was gonna save the replay but i didnt
