I just got my copy of PES6 on PS2 and got the slide card to play the game .

It shows that the game is loading and I can see the PES screens, but it is flickering and in black and white. Do I need to get something else to play thePAL disc? OR am I doing something wrong. Maybe I'll try another tv.

Thanks for any help on this.

This is a NTSC Sony TV that I am using.

I live in the U.S. and I got the version where you can change the option settings to 60hz which makes into NTSC and a option for 50hz which is PAL. If you don't have that option, then you need to move to Europe and play the game there.

I never figured how to use the slide card thing. So I just installed a plug & play mod chip (no soldering).

Sorry.

If the screen flickers and the game is in Black and White then it means that your TV doesn't support the PAL video signal.

If you wanna play PAL games, you'll firstly need a TV that supports both NTSC and PAL video signals. You'll also need an RGB Scart Cable connected to this TV from your PS2 so that it can convert the Black & White into Colour.
