Slowdown after 2 matches

hello,
after playing 1 or 2 matches, i get this slowdown-problem. but until that time everything works fine.

winxp home
Pentium 4 2.4 GHZ
Ati mobility Radeon 9000
256MB RAM

i've heard from others which have the same problem, but with a system which is much better...
can anybody help me?

Seeing that you are using a mobility 9000 I am assuming you are on a laptop.

Anyway this slowdown you get is probably due to your RAM. PES 3 loves 512Mb (or even more) so when things get busy (playing the game for a while etc) the game has to start using your hard drive to transfer data, which is a lot slower than RAM. I would say get another stick of 256Mb RAM and you will be sorted.

Yeah but your laptop could be completely different his or infact mine so...

Try shutting off some of the services that run in the background in XP. This will free up some extra memory, and help reduce general overhead as well.
