Is all I would need to properly play it is some sort of mod? Im thinking I like the Flip-Top method becuase of no-soldering. My PS2 is covered for 2 years with instant replacement through BEST BUY. So id prefer to NOT alter the device itself.

Am I correct in assuming the Flip-Top will allow me to play PES3 and backups. And are theres things I should know about the Flip-Top that make it a bad idea.

Thanks again for all your help!!

I dont feel comfortable soldering a modchip, plus it would void my store warranty. The flip-lid looks pretty simple! Or the slide card.

wookie,

if you get the slide in card with 2 swap disks that you preload before the game you should be fine.

No opening of PS2. It's a new SWAP system.

You can get it from Modchip company.
(order it over the internet)!

You'll find their official web page if you search in google.com
its either www.modchip.com or .org or something like that...

Cheers!

i dunno milosh... yeah u dont void the warranty but unless u opted to buy more warrenty the standard warrenty for ps2 is only 2 months.... so ..... i did flip top today actually and with the swap magic 2.0 discs im playing pes3 perfectly
i also herad somewhere that its actually safer doing the fliptop method cuz once uve done it ur done, but doing the slide card ur taking a risk everytime u play.... this is just what i heard, im not sure if its that big of risk(ive never done it) for fliptops go to modchipkits.com
