I was just searching around for an old game and I did found one: (although not the one I was looking for ) WE7:I. I thought to myself, what the heck , i'm going to play this just for a while.
Here's my thoughts after these years, where the hell did this awesome gameplay gone? i play we10 nowadays and compared to we7 it sucks. if you don't count the small additions , you really get the feeling you're playing the newer game rather than an older one. Seriously the gameplay was so much better and you really feel you can just score in many different ways, it really feels that you're not beeing controled but you're in control

I hate WE10 to be honest. I much prefer PES5. Or WE6:FE patched up with the British Evolution.

It was definitely harder to score in the older games, I'll give you that.

But personally, I think each game in the PES/WE series has it's own pros and cons.

seven was the game that got me addicted to we...6 was as good but it was so weak in terms of fluidity

I got into the winning eleven thing with we7i, this one and we8i, are far better than we9i, only we9i advantage is the online mode.

I hate the way the CPU teams defend so oppressively in PES5. They just rush towards you at great speed - they don't defend cleverly at all like marking space and standing off a man. Lets hope improved AI in PES6 sorts this out.

Never played a WE game, as i have only ever had pes. I recently played PES1 and its not a patch on pes5. Pes5 is so much better than the old PES'.

I normally play WE from the day it comes out untill PES is out in October, but this year for the first time in the series i've gone back to playing PES.

I can't stand WE10.
