Sony PSP v Nintendo DS??

The sony PSP and Nintendo DS are both due to be released on the same date next year. Both are Portabale and look really good.
Which do you think will be better and why.
P.S Pro Evo will be available only on the PSP.

I'd go for the PSP. For the line-up and the graphics. All the other things it can do, are not important to me.. I believe that the PSP is a bigger step forward then the NDS will be.

but i disagree with cyrax on the way forward. i think NDS will be a bigger step with the 2 screens. like it was rumoured to provide a 3d view on games and such. and with the nap being on a different screen itll alow a lil more view on the enviroment within the game. i mean if pro was on it the radar could be on a whole new screen. and maybe if was touch screen itd allow for easy subs. so i think the 2 screens will be a bigger advance

With a step forward I ment more the power of the machine, the graphics it can produce. Almost PS2 graphics on that little screen, is a big step. I don't think many developers will use the feature of the DS although they say they will. Just like the connection between the GBA and the Cube, I think it won't be used wisely. But I do hope so and if it does happen I reconsider and go for the DS as well. But the SP will be my first choice.

the DS got better graphics then the psp i think.got lots of tight features(2screens,touch screen,w-lan,microphone...

i dont know why this biz is so fucked up. nintendo should be #1 not sony, i see the same end for nintendo as segas.

PSP, the DS's dual screen seem more gimicky than useful. They'll probably be used inventively in a few games, probably made my Nintendo. The majority will have some map or equipment screen.

The PSP will definitely by my choice, slick graphics, better developer support, Pro Evo etc.

I'm gettin a PSP so there's no contest for me, it has better graphics(PS2 graphics) plays movies etc....its far better than the retro NDS!!

I chose PSP because sony always produce good, solid, big name games.

Id hate the though of having the DS and being stuck with Mario all the time, i aint 5 years old anymore!

Nintendo are the masters of hand-held consoles. But PSP has a better range of games.

i like both really for different things the psp for just being cool and better graphics but the ds for it's uniqueness which may change gaming

My mate brought round his PSM2 DVD and I saw a video of 30 odd games on the PSP. The graphics are amazing, its hard to believe that those kind of graphics will be on a handheld. Absolutely brilliant.

If the Nintendo DS is better, then that's swearingly impressive.
