you're still going on about your stupid stepovers ash???

"Wow, Can you beet me????"

Conor, stepovers are useless in the game. Full stop. Ash's thread doesn't help, it's just a few posts of him bragging and asking if anyone can beat him.

I know i think the step-overs are useless in PES3 too, i only use them when im showing off in front of my mates, or if im beating the computer by about 3-0 or somthing like that....But if you want to do step-overs mate, just use the single step-over, but that's useless to.

As you try to beat the Full Back as you are level with him try them then, then you knock it ahead to get space for a cross.

They are far from useless.

You can actually do stepovers properly in PES 3. Double tap L1 and at the very end of the the move tap left or right. The defender will stick his leg out to get the ball and you'll either get by him or win a free kick. It looks sweet when you do it!

The stepover does work, but it's hard to perform it properly, and even if you do, there are simpler ways to get past a defender. However is a nice-looking move, but don't waste your time trying to master the stepover, work in another moves that are easier to perform.

It DOES work properly. If you use it the right way. I usually do it (at 5*) with a midfielder, than pass it from a wing to the striker, than the stepover, so the wingplay can shoot. Most of the time the defenders are to slow even at 5*

Try using the R2 stepover it is way more effective and he will do one fast stepover then press a direction and off you go. You can do it as often as you like and make it look like a R1 stepover so as to fool your opponent.

I think simplicity is boring. There are thousands of easy ways to score, at any level of Pro Evo... But it doesn't give me the great feeling like a beauty goal does. Not by far... I hate scoring easy.... I refuse to do it, even when I'm behind (yes..sometimes it happens).... But everbody plays Pro in their one way right....?
