Suggestions for Improvements for the next PES2008 patch.

1) Instead of calling the game PES2008, it should be called 'World Superstar Soccer Dribbling Champs 2008, Turbo Edition).

2) The star player in each team should have the ability to burst into flames and run right through the whole opposition defence and walk the ball into the net. (I know the top players in the game can already do that.....but not whilst ablaze)

3) All the top attacking players should have special abilities. Adriano and Ibrahimovic should have a force field skill, Messi, Ronaldinho etc should have a 'ball chained to feet ability', and players such as Henry and Eto'o should have a 'rocket powered roller blade' move.

4) To add a bit more comic effect your defenders should run into each other more and the keeper should drop the ball into his own net more. Also the ref should blunder into your players very frequently thus sabotaging important build up play and the odd clearance.......this would be a right larff I reckon.

5) in order to make the game more challenging, there should be times where the AI simply decides that either the CPU or your human opponent is going to get a goal against you. This could be done by simply mispositioning all your players and positioning the opposition players such that a goal can be derived by simply spamming the shoot button.

5) Finally, it should be EVEN EASIER to score right from kick off by simply dribbling right through playing the odd pass here n there. This would be an ideal opportunity for your Superstar Soccer Dribbling Champs heroes to perfrom their special talents.

6) On no accounts should Konami attempt to balance out the gameplay aiming to structure the engine so that the gamer is forced to actually try and play football! I mean, where would be the fun in that? If they went down those lines, we may as well go and play FIFA or something.

Keep up the good work Konami!!!

Maybe PES2009 will be the title that finally topples MarioStikers as the best footie series of all time.

We all understand you don't like the game, Matthew. We've read your countless posts on the subject.

Sorry, but it just never ceases to bewilder me how bad they have made it over the years when they have actually been trying to IMPROVE it.

Matthew you seem to be the only one on here that sees this game for what it is: a complete peace of S**T!
Keep the posts coming, maybe one of those so called developers from Konami might just read 'em.
Anyone that doesn't agree with you cant be older that 12!

mmmm

I do agree, I think Konami kind of hit the nail on the head with the game play without kind of realising it now they try to improve it which as we all know it not always a good thing. most hard core pro evo fans would beg them not to change a thing just the graphics, updates etc!! if you have a winning formula go with it. remember sensible soccer!!! simple as but yet so addictive!!
also the pro evo following has gone stupid! and the fans expect alot more. You remember the first games so many spelling mistakes and bad language conversion or maybe just the understanding of the game, details were bad but the game play was there!! it has come on loads since then. but yeah I think they should have just left it alone at the risk of getting slated for just tarting up and repackaging an old game.
