symbols on top of players' heads

hello guys.i have searched the forums but couldn't find an answer so here goes.

What do the symbols that appear sometimes on top of players heads during matches mean?
sometimes it shows 1,2 or 3 semicircle lines or a green diamond.

i'm playing the wii version.haven't played any other versions in the past so maybe those symbols are well known by pes fans.

well if you mean it's fun and you can do things you can't do on other consoles then i guess you're right Du 1337.
