I'll come on tonight, about 10pm. It seems you're missing my defensive-midfield mastery.

EDIT: Spot on with point 5, Barn. I usually try to stay within a particular region, depending on my role. For example, if I'm playing RDM, I'll take responsibility for the right side of the pitch, especially in our half and I'll rarely venture into our opponents penalty box, or cover the left side - I have to trust the LDM to do this.

Which is why I have yet to quit in anger and why I was incensed we backed out yesterday when there were "too many" players on the other team.

Compelte cowardice.

No one has ever quit in anger.

And I'm not sure if backing out made us cowards, but it was the smart thing to do.

It's cowardice yes but lets face it we don't have a chance against 8-11 man teams at the minute - that being said we were caned by a four-man team as well. Joel's motto is all fine and good but it needs a 'we die together' as well.

We don't seem to have a chance against anyone at the moment, so we might as well take on whoever we come up against.

I think what we're experiencing here is a team-wide crisis of confidence - due to the amount of losses we've experienced in the past month, people are thinking too much about each move they make and this, a lot of the time, leads to wrong decisions being made, which leads to another loss, so it's a vicious cycle. There's no easy way to get out of that. I suppose one way might be for us each, individually, to try and have a more positive mindset going into each match. Also, I suppose we could just put 10 men behind the ball and defend for our lives to try and keep a clean sheet, thereby showing us that we can do that. Those are suggestions though - I dunno if they'll work. Believe it or not, we were a good team once, so that means we can be a good team again.

On point 5 that Barn made, when I play DM, I tend to try and get into the box and support Barn when there's a chance for a cross. Do people think I should keep doing this, or should I hold back from doing it?

Depends. Our formations usually consist of two DM's. So if you are forward, the other one should stay back and vice versa.

I blame everything on Joel's connection.

Our final match last night was something else. Consisted of me, Red, Bishop & Joel (who d/c early on). Then Bishop was sent off and took over as ANY.

I think it's best if you stay back, when we play with three midfielders (i.e. 4321, 4312 and 41212 - I'm excluding AM as a midfielder). Let LCM and RCM focus more on attacking.

Like I mentioned, I tend to stay behind the ball when I play DM. If we play two - I usually partner Bammers, from what I've seen - I'm happy to be the one staying back, while the other could be more of a box-to-boxer.

I got sent off deliberately out of sheer anger and disgust. It felt better than anything else we achieved last night.

BT really are a load of shit. It constantly times out and it doesn't seem to like the EA servers, because most of the times I am just kicked out of the game, rather than off the internet.

I miss Sky Broadband.

Original?

Children, I just got my internet back, looking forward to getting back into clubs... glad to see team spirit is so high! On the plus side we may have sunk to an all time low but at least we do not have anyone on our team sporting a blue afro... so we're not a bunch of cunts.
