I was especially pleased with our resilience in the two 2-1 games, to come back, having gone behind. That draw should've been a similar story, but, for some reason, we just couldn't force the ball into the net.

That goal line scramble last night was unbelievable. I was literally throwing myself at the TV to knock it over the line.

I think we should cut down on the amount of curling shots from outside the box. They rarely go in, especially against a human GK. Find it better going for a straight power shot where there's a better chance of a deflection or the keeper parrying it in the six yard box or at least a corner.

Yeah, I agree, which is odd as I hit a fair few trying to bend them in. Apologies, it's just natural given that I pop them in often offline. We should definitely try to drill them if possible.

A few comments on last night, overall fantastic, but we need to be a lot more careful with possession when we're only 1 goal up. No need to try through balls or whip in crosses in the last ten minutes. Also, I thought we missed Red, without him holding we seemed a lot more vulnerable to the counter, this may have contributed to Bammers constantly collapsing with exhaustion. Finally, calling for the ball from the CPU is still causing some problems, we just need to really consider whether we should call for the ball or not.

That said... 5 games, 3 wins, 1, draw and 1 loss and we deserved to win them all, we're doing well.

I wasn't playing last night, so my comment isn't applied to that session, but I've realised that if you let the CPU hold onto the ball for too long, he'll try to find someone with a daft longball, without someone calling (it's happened to me too many times for my liking).

Think the midfielders need to make sure they are in space to call for the ball (ASAP) when a defender (CPU controlled) has it.

Yeah it was a good session, I'm gutted I got kicked out again in 2 of the games. Was onto my service provider and they said they were doing work in the area and that it should settle down again.

On a football side we're holding our shape very well, Original?'s point about over calling for the ball is key to this game if you want to really experience the best of things and not knock your head against the wall with frustration.

I'll be on tonight.

Another solid session last night, unfortunately we contrived to lose a couple of games we really shouldn't have.

The calling for the ball was still a problem last night, it's leading to us giving away possession needlessly. If you're marked or the CPU is not facing you, you should avoid calling for the ball. If the CPU is in a spot of bother, it should be me or Sweey who call for the ball. This will ensure that the CPU clears it far and wide. If the you're deep and call for the ball from the CPU when they're struggling the pass will likely be dire and put us under pressure.

I think we're rather missing Red from a defensive point of view, he's also good at showing for the ball in the middle. Bammers and Bishop push up more which is right given they play on the side of the three but unfortunately the CPU is rather rubbish as CM. It almost seems like Bammers and Bish are playing in a 2 the CPU is so poor.

I won't be on much over the festive period.

Original? isn't on (that's what he said yesterday anyway), I probably won't be but if everyone else is turning up I might for about three. I think Original? is the only club manager though so if you left and are coming back again Dundon's, you might be stuck.

Right...

Well I did leave and play with the lads after you lads finished up, one of the boys dropped in there now anyways so I doubt I'll be on tonight early.

Good luck with it.

Sweey, I believe I made you a club manager as well just for such eventualities, Dundons' if you send the request Sweey should be able to accept the request. We may as well make everyone a manager in case we need to make changes.

Ah fair enough, will make the core six all managers so anyone can control this.

If I remember, I'll be on. Working from home tomorrow so need to be up early and flu isn't going to make that any easier so can't make it a particularly late one.

There were too many of us for one team and there's only one dressing room in Fifa 12 unlike Fifa 10.

Ahhh, I see, not a bad decision, that way there's enough room available for players to go where they want on the field.

Good to hear there hasn't been a fall out.
