A little feedback on the MLS All Star team, for whatever it's worth...
Here are some players I'd recommend adding, and brief reasons why:
- Fredy Montero (Seattle Sounders) | CF, SS -- MVP candidate, even if he got off to a slow start to the season.
- Brek Shea (FC Dallas) | LMF, LWF -- MVP candidate. Bagged a lot of goals for a midfielder in MLS last year. Brightest young American prospect, probably.
- Osvaldo Alonso (Seattle Sounders) | DMF, CMF -- Steady, solid for several seasons now.
- Kyle Beckerman (Real Salt Lake) | DMF, CMF -- Steady, solid. Consummate holding player. Now a regular US NTer.
- Todd Dunivant (LA Galaxy) | LB, LMF - Best left back in league for at least the last two seasons.
- Jon Busch (San Jose Earthquakes) | GK - Best keeper in the league last year, for my money, especially considering the sort of players in front of him. Underrated.
Players I'd recommend dropping, and why:
- Juan Pablo Ángel (Chivas USA) -- aging; started off last season horribly, although he bagged a few goals late after being traded.
- Brian Ching (Montreal Impact) -- aging & frequently injured.
- Bobby Convey (Sporting Kansas City) -- mostly disappointing while he's been in MLS, although his play ticked up a bit in late 2010. A non-factor in 2011, though. Fell out with previous coach/club (San Jose) over style and positional preferences.
- Rafael Marquez (N.Y. Red Bulls) -- horrible season last year, especially on the back end, both on the field & in the clubhouse.
- Faryd Mondragon (Philadelphia Union) -- just transferred out of MLS, back to Colombia.
Couple of other notes:
- Geoff Cameron primarily plays CB now, after bouncing around a bit in midfield.
- AJ DeLaGarza primarily plays CB, even though he's quite short for a CB.
- Heath Pearce primarily played CB last year, although it's to-be-seen if that carries over to this coming season.

Because of your recommendations i dicided to add Fredy Montero, Brek Shea and Jon Busch. Ching, Convey and Mondragon were dropped. Didn't want to lose Ángel because azul already made a build and I'd like to keep Marquez. Don't know why really
