Here mate, you are awesome at getting info for us, keep it up. You have been posting all the info, but we havent got your opinion.

So, what do you think about PES 2010?

Thanks for the kind words. I really really like it very much. Can't wait for it, but some animations sucks. Especially the passing animation when the player is standing still. That weird Sliding tackle animation is still there too from PES 2009. I have a lot to say but my english isn't so good.

Bosnia is in!!!! And Angola is back!!! With all the added national teams it will be incredibly easy this time around to make the Bundesliga. I really ca't wait to own ppl online with Dzeko, Misimovic and Ibiesivic !!!

Also the chance to have a proper African cup is a big plus

Yeah, I've definitely noticed a new sliding animation, it was in the first gameplay video from Gamescom (probably the first in the thread). The last ditch lunge for the ball in the penalty area, it looked great to be honest.

Yup, PES is going to be back, if not 2010 (probably not, as I keep saying a stepping stone/ building block), but probably 2011 they have the foundation to do it.

Good people were slating it because we were aspoised to get more animations, so I am glad this true.

I saw this coming from miles away and I can't understand why people are acting surprised.
This is just another overcoat how long will they keep covering the flaws? The engine is broken no matter how hard they try integrate, improve and expand the core is broken they need to build from the ground up.

The engine was designed to run on the PS2 and did so excellently and produced the best and most realistic football game to date Pro evolution 6 (WE7).

People are kidding themselves if you think the next gen effort comes even close to the games that were produced on the PS2.
How ridiculous is that when considering the PS3 is 10 times as powerful and gives you options the PS2 does not have.

And please don't take WENB words as gospel the owner of the site is a lowlife bias clown his name is Adam this is the same guy who said PES08 "runs beautifully" and "PES09 is as good as the PS2 games" then he will later contradict himself and say next year is the real deal.......
Watch in a few more months he will do it again.

Dude gets treated to a free meal by a Konami exec and gets to play the latest build early which clouds his judgment It's hard hearing this dude giggling like a school girl and sounding constipated.
Dude is full of shit and I don't know him personally but I would jump out of a moving car to drop kick him.

In all seriousness you can't share your honest opinion I've visited their forum and it is full of clowns riding him and cheering him on with their pom poms pathetic and pitiful some guy got banned for requesting Konami replace the terrible manual passing with the skill system back to right analogue and he said the skills did not concern him and banned him.

His partner though Suff sounds more honest and humble so take that for what it is.

Konami doesn't put food on mine or your table and we don't owe them anything so lets be honest the game looks and plays horribly I could care less about how realistic the player faces are that is just an added bonus.

The game really has lost its magic from the PS2 days.

Okay i read what you wrote *gasp* it just sounds like your blowing off steam. Your only point is basicly the engine is whats wrong with this game which according to you plays horribly. So my question is what team did you play as in the demo? I might respect and take you rant a little more seriously if you actually played the game. For the record im not praising this game but im certainly not basing it either. The reason is I havent played it yet neither have you.

Yeh the difference is not 'TOTALLY NEW GAME' but its HUGE. Honestly, I think its a very big difference. It looks like a football match now. The animations ( while not life-like as FIFAs ) are very noticeable and better...

am I the only one seeing this?

@ Tech 2 things:

1- Yes, the 'BUILDS' excuses are getting on my nerves too..

2- You mentioned something about FIFA never incorporating CARDS into their game...not 100% sure but didnt ULTIMATE TEAM have cards?

^Wait, and play it and then comment how bad it is because:
The difference is pretty notable between pes 10 videos and pes 09 first videos. It's just so more difficult to score in pes 10 according to the videos even in a 2 player match, you need skill to score. Or at least fool the opponent and score unlike in pes 09.

When will FIFA get individuality?
When will FIFA have longevity and be fun to play for more than a month?
When will FIFA be as customizable?
When will FIFA be as responsive?
When will we feel a difference between 'barcelona' and 'Wigan' in FIFA?

Those are question we should be asking ourselves...

proevofan: Excactly what I said in my other post. But I also added the dribbling part where in fifa it's close to impossible to dribble past a player and actually fool the defender. In reality it happens. Even with a simple well timed feint from a mediocore dribbler. Where in fifa 09 the defenders aren't beaten, not even with messi. You have to use speed to beat defenders not technique.

Completely agree about the dribbling aspect.
