Hi lads, how do you earn more money because I've released all the fringe players and have played around 70 matches but yet I only have Nilmar and Muller? I've entered tournaments and played quick matches but no joy.

Hi, I edited PES united's kits and Emblem and I was wondering if they actually show up in MLO for my opponents? I've searched and haven't seen anything on it.

I would hate to have done all that work for nothing.

I've payed against a number of people with the standard pes utd kit and emblem that have obviously changed it. So no it won't show up. But what does it matter when you can see it on your screen?

Its the same with kits and emblems for proper sides. I've got Daymos's option file on and can see proper kits and emblems on mine online when people without the file will still have the default plain ones.

Alright I'm gonna release some players tonight in an attempt to sign a star. I keep facing power house teams with inferior users. I played vs an AC Milan which had Rosicky, Kezman and more. I managed to beat him 2-1 with my default MLO squad but spent the ENTIRE second half in my zone.. diving infront of balls, giving away free kicks etc.

So im glad theres a way to make some money and buy a player

Oh well, I may change my team to OM or someone else with actual kits. The creativity would have been a nice touch to MLO, maybe next year...

Basically just keep playing. I've noticed I earn more money the bigger the entrance fee.

So in the beginning when I was paying about 45K to play a quick match, I would get 70K if I won. Now, I pay about 74K to play and usually get 130K per win, sometimes even 150K (I have no idea why).

So if my theory is right, you earn money faster the more valuable your team is. This is contrary to what I initially thought/hoped because it means the best just get better much quicker. It would have been more logical that, the more stacked your team is, the more effort you have to put in to improve it.

Wait, so the other player who has created his own kit might have a completely different looking kit then shown on my screen? I don't like it when people use the dark kit for WE United, but maybe its because on their screen they have a nice white kit that contrasts to the Barca home it which I prefer to use.

I mean, if the custom made kits don't show up on opponent's screens, why not just let me select the kits for both players as well as the radar colours? I hate it when the kits/dots are rubbish colours.

I started on mlo earlier on. I entered the ml open cup its hard going especially on 5 min matches.

I lost 3 games 1-0 and a 0-0 only played I D5 guy, so havent scored yet lol

Only just signd Efouou so hope fully Ill start scoring now then the next step is a LM then new fullbacks . Im actually enjoying getting beat

Fast CB's are important.
My strategy generally consists of running a midfielder down the wing and crossing into the box. So I need fast Side Mids and tall/good in the air forwards

Ill definetely be looking for pace in the back line . Attacking fullbacks a tall aerial CB like Hangeland and a quick guy like kolo toure.

Ill prob have the poormans versions though

Every one is just playing stupid ping pong football when they are in division 3 or 2 . not faced one player in these 2 divisions that actually wants to play football and try different things , i'm feeling lke i need to play like a robot to get constant good results, just constantly defence to midfield - through ball.
Absolute joke the speed of the games are getting like a basketball match

Every one is just playing stupid ping pong football when they are in division 3 or 2 . not faced one player in these 2 divisions that actually wants to play football and try different things , i'm feeling lke i need to play like a robot to get constant good results, just constantly defence to midfield - through ball.
Absolute joke the speed of the games are getting like a basketball match

I had a fairly good game the last I played, sure he had an attacking formation with Benzema and mayukins up front, but he didn't pump the ball forward every time usually tried building it up.

It sucks because you have to play a bit cheesy just to beat these guys. I started MLO with a 4-1-2-2-1 formation that I used in football manager, I didn't realize two wingers was so freaking popular, I almost want to make a whole new possession tactic just to kill the "ping pong" play. Frustrate the hell out of the other guy!

Right now I'm playing with 4 cbs to fight the counter, clogs up the middle through ball, and dont have to worry about sidebacks wondering around in midfield when not in possession.

While I do like PES2011 MLO, the creators have just replaced one cheat (super fast players) with another (ridiculous through balls). I wouldn't mind if players like Xavi and Pirlo were hitting them but any player can hit a killer defense splitting pass at will. It totally unbalances the game and destroys any build up play.

Gotta say im starting to agree with this, today I played some guy he scored a lucky goal in first 5 mins playing the ubiqitous 4.3.3 and then I literally battered him for the rest of the game, gamed ended 1-1 despite me having 12 shots on target to his 2 which was a bummer but the real killer was the way he played, I was already overpowering his midfield anyway which seemed to exist solely to hoof the ball up the pitch and at half time rather than adopt a more senesible tactic he made it worse he had no central midfielders at all, it ended up something like this

Literally in that shape, it meant all he did was get the ball and hoof it diagonally up the pitch instantly it ruined an otherwise enjoyable experience.

I found a great counter to the usual crap playing with (as you say) 4 x CBs and 2 x DMFs problem is it also limits your own effectiveness going forward and most results end up 0-0

The real shame is that Konami have the foundations of a fantastic game mode with MLO, I can see it being fantastic in 2 or 3 versions time, but right now its little more than an interesting aside for when I get bored playing the AI in ML.
