X-Port does work on it and there are already option files available for WE7:IJ.
The clubs are the same as in WE7 and PES3. There are a few new players but the option file will correct everything for you.

To play import games, you need to chip your PS2 or use one of the mod methods - these are all explained Here
I use a chipped PS2 as it saves the hassle of using a boot disk every time you want to load a game. Good luck.

Still enjoying WE7:IJ loads. Great player AI and some great through balls. For some reason, I'm scoring more lob goals in this version. And a lot of headers as we know....

Nah, the evo-web WE7 option file was full of them too. I think they saw sense afterwards

There may be a case to insert "FC" before the club name but after it is a bit pointless to me.

Little things ive noticed.

Corners are hard to score from no longer does half a bar reach the 6 yard box.
Players tumble in the box when i corner comes in.
Shots seem more powerful (the camera couldnt keep up with one of my goals)
The balls bounces around quicker in challenges.
Defenders fall over and dont seem to mark too well.
Players push each other off the ball far to easily.
Havent noticed crosses are better i always over hit them, although the cross along the floor is far more useful now.

Thats about it, the corner thing has really done me in cant score. Any tips?
