The Ultimate Goal of the PES series

How many people are aware of the fact that it is possible to play PES4 from the point of view of one individual player at pitch level. To do this, select 'FIX' by tapping L1 at Player Settings Menu, select the player you want to play with. then select the 'PLAYER' Camera View.

Fucking amazing stuff.

Anyone who plays 'real' football will instantly recognise the whole different approach to playing the game as an actual individual player in a team, fighting to get invloved in the game, the fight to not lose possession of the ball whilst looking for something clever to do with it, not knowing exactly what options are available...etc..

Tricky to get the hang of at first but some very rewarding gameplay for those who persevere! However, due to the dodgyness of the camera movement and other faults such as not having 100% free mobility of your player or the lack of a radar that rotated in unison with the player (in order to quickly show where ball can and cant be played), this game mode is more of a showpiece than a viable gaming option.

In Pes5, I would just absolutely love to see this game mode greatly improved and enhanced.

I reckon that in the course of time it will be possible to play 22player PES games online with every participant playing from a 3rd persons viewpoint of their player just as though they were playing in the stadium on the pitch.

I dunno, I've tried it a couple of times, it just seems a bit boring, I guess if I played as CMF or someone who gets alot of the ball it would be better, but it's just rather annoying the one time you get the ball you set up something you could have finished and the computer fucks it up.

There is a thread around here somewhere about the possibility that Konami would include a kind of 'Master League' based upon this mode where you only play as one player and train them up and look for the best clubs to join etc etc.

I certainly would like to see it improve as it would add a whole new dimension to the next game.

yeah, like I said, it is far from far from perfect, more of a showpiece than a viable gaming option.....and aye, another fault i never mentioned was the shite AI of your computer team mates, you can play a lovely ball out to a winger through a gap , run into clear space in the penalty box, only for the areshole winger to tip-tap it about with the team-mate nearest to him before just simply losing possession!

That is why I am saying I would like to see this gamemode grealty improved....

There is a huge amount of potential here I reckon....

It s a nice idea sure, But the Ultimate Goal for PES serious is to make a game that represents real soccer 100%, thats the real goal .

I think the option you mentioned is new whole expierence but thats not the ultimate goal like the title indicated.

It would be lovely to have PES played by 22 players( human controlled) and play as if you were on the pitch.

But these can be great only if the game engine represents a real soccer match 100% or close to 100%

So lets say that the Ultimate goal for PES is to continue improving the gameplay till it really reflects reality.

Hmm I agree. Maybe Konami could set themselves a target to drastically improve this mode by say Pro Evo 7?

i wud love to see that it sounds brilliant being your self and chosing what clubs you would join etc. that would be brilliant.

I haven't actually tried this mode out yet,i didn't know it existed until now so thanks! but from the picture im imagining it doesn't seem too enjoyable! I'd have to try it out i guess but the idea konami have may turn out decent,so hope to get more details of it soon!
