I have just got a rgb cable, but on using it my screen has been squashed like it is gone into widescreen (and is quite small).

Has anybody come across this? or know how to make it so it covers the whole screen of the t.v?

Would be very much appreciated.

This happens to someone I know and there is no way to fix it.
The same cable on another TV doesn't make the picture squashed.

My RGB scart makes the picture widesrcreen automatically when I turn on my PS2 but all I do is press the button on my remote that toggles between widescreen and full screen. I have a Sony tv but most TV's with widescreen function should have this button.

This is just as idea but have you changed the PS2 settings to RGB, because theres a setting there for it.

Cheers for replying guys, but my t.v doesn't support widescreen or have a wide screen button. Also I have got it on RGB as my screen was green and then I changed it.

But thanks again people, but I will just have to live with the squidgee men.

i also have a mate who that happened to i think he didnt mention it to me but when i went round to play on evo with him all his men where fat and 600metres wide. although i still beat him 3-0. ha ha ha ha ha ha ha ha i win.
