Being an Xbox Live Silver member I'm gonna have to wait till 23rd Sept to get my hands on demo.

I really wanted to see people's views on it though but thought that some people might be going OTT for PES 2011 on here (it is a PES fansite afterall).

However, having read the opinions in this Xbox thread:

I'm now really excited for PES 2011. It seems that even some Fifa fans are finding PES 2011 to be the better game!!!

Ive played the demo, I like it, there are some issues however. I think some of the animations are a little jerky and the ball physics need tweaking slightly. I think the passing - its excellent, you can finally pass the ball to the player you want rather than pass it to the closest individual. And long passing - I did an awesome cross field ball last night, never ever achieved anything like that on any other PES's (maybe Im crap!), shooting is better too. Graphically stunning.

Ive played FIFA 11 too. Its ok, it reminds me too much of FIFA World Cup 2010, which I enjoyed, so Im a little disappointed it hasnt gone up a level. Its a good game too. I think this year we might be spoilt for choice!

I'm hearing a lot of people say that Fifa 11 doesn't feel that different from Fifa 10 SKJ. I think the roles have reversed now - Back in 2009 people were wowed by Fifa due to a new game engine and were disappointed in PES due to little change.

It seems that this year PES is the game with the big changes and Fifa is the one playing it safe. Sounds like there's FINALLY going to be 2 good football games to choose from though, and that can only be a good thing :)

In my opinion, both games have their ups and downs.
Where one accels, the other fails and vice versa.
