title screen problem

ive changed the picture on the main title screen, and it looks superb. but when i changed the players scrolling across the screen the quality was very poor. i use adobe photoshop 7. i get a photo of a player and then cut him out and paste him into the new pic im making for the title screen. i then save it then open it with graphic studio. this is when the quality of the pic is poor. it tells me to reduce it to 8 bit and it looks crap. ive looked at the pics of the players that are in the super patch and they are crystal clear. does anybody know how to get the players as clear as that? cheers

maybe its because your quality is on low

when you made it in photoshop did you go image>indexed colours and set it to 256 colours???

cheers m8 i just tried it there and it worked thanks alot.
is there an easier way to make the background colour completely dissapear. when i load graphic studio i click on the back ground colour and i set the opacity to 0. but there are different shades of that colour. when i insert the pic to the game you can still see some of the purple background around the pic. how do i get rid of all the purple
