Track Record and Edit not saved

Hey all, looks like I'm having a problem with my Track Records and Edit features. I have the PC version of PES2008, but every time I start the game, all of my track records and edited players are reset!

So yeah after a couple of weeks of intensive play guiding my master league team to a D1 Cup victory, my track record is still showing 0 games played...... My unlocked teams and players from my D2 Cup and D2 League victories are also gone...

Is anyone experiencing the same issue? I have the Aussie version of the game btw and bought it in EB.

I think you should delete the option file and do onother option file.On my ps2 i have a problem aswell then i start a master league i switch off the classic players/hidden players and then i start the master league and then i see teams are trying to buy classic players is dead anoying

Solution

OK to make this thread semi-useful, here's a workaround to the bug that I've discovered.

1. Download Parallel Port Joystick here: http://rapidshare.com/files/65325228/PPJoySetup.rar

2. UnRAR, UnZip, and Install Parallel Port Joystick

3. Open "Configure Joystick"

4. Click Add... and add whatever the default Controller 1 option is, then click Done

5. Go to your PES settings in the Controller tab and add Controller 1

6. Your PES profile will now Auto-save

7. Go to your KONAMI save folder in your My Documents (or Documents in Windows Vista)

8. Find this file and delete it: PES2008_OPTION01.bin

9. Your PES profile will now Auto-load when you restart the game, e.g. Track Records, Edited players and teams, etc.

Although I heard if you edit team names they will still be reset when you restart the game.
