i never really messed with them in we6

do you play them like a regular player or do you need to leave them in the whole game to get all the points?

like when they are fatigued all the way do you still sub them out during their development period?

In the beginning they only last about 60 minutes and then you have to sub them. Trick is to play them in every game so that they can get points. Play them for anything less than a major injury otherwise you will only get 10 points and a very crap player.

Yeah I was aware of the ten point thing but was wondering if the points you got was related to the mins they played in the game at all.

Looks like its just a points per game played then...cool.

I just started my first season in div 1 in my ML, my team...after being overhauled in the offseaon is looking pretty good and just beat Chelsea. Maybe I'll grab a guy and train him up during the season.

I think it is a combination of number of minutes in the game and how the game pans out... i.e. loads of points for a win.....not sure about this....further testing required.

Is the pope catholic?

Plans are afoot to return to the states next year. The club was pleasantly surprised at the turn out for the matches, and of course Celtic has a world wide fan base, so travelling about does nothing but good.

Did some testing last night and the points are dependent on how long the player is in the game and how he performs. However the upper and lower ranges are only about 25% of a difference even when the player scores a goal.

Suggest first thing you do on the player is get the Stamina and the fitness consistency attribute (second from the bottom?) up.

bad idea really, you only want to train one player at a time so you can have one really good one at the end of it instead of 3 mediocre ones

that's rubbish, I trained 4 at once in season 1 on 5* ML, and although I didn't get promoted (lost in the playoffs) one of them, Pepita, emerged as probably the best player in the game with all stats >90 and another, Eliot, has also kept his place at LB. The other 2, Stanley (CBT) and Ibsen (CF) are also quite useful as subs

how long can you train a player for? I've never really tried training a player up but want to attempt it as by the sounds of it, it enhances the game and the way it can be played

Seems to vary a bit, usually about one season in Div 2 i.e. 20 games or so. Mine have ranged between 10 and 25 games. I'm restarting 5* ML just using youth players, so I'll be able to give you a better answer in a couple of weeks

what techniques do you all use to train players. do ypu (a) make him class at some things and crap at others or do you (b) balance it? i trained a right winger, moraes, and gave him amazin finishing, pace, dribbling etc but he couldnt tackle or head for toffee!

definitely (a) otherwise you're likely to end up with an all-round mediocre player. Things like free kicks, curving, defence can be ignored altogether. If you're training a striker start off by maxing his shooting, heading and balance so he can start to contribute a few goals right away, which gives more training points. Mind you if the training period ends earlier than you expect you end up with some pretty unbalanced players!

Totally agree. What difference does it make if you train 1 or 10. All the players still get points!

I agree with the aggression point also - I include that in defenders stats too. :D
