Two players, same team

Do you guys often play with a mate on the same team? I do quite a lot and find it amusing. It's good for scoring intricate goals which are otherwise nearly impossible!

(I imagine I'm repeating somebody in mentioning this but today I saw that Game's PES3 release date was 27th Oct. Completely unreliable for sure, but I'm ever the optimist.)

I don't know how Game can know more about the date than Konami themselves.

Multiplayer matches are cool.
Have your tried 2 a side? That is great.
And 4v4 is just mayhem! Mass bundles for the ball!!

i must purchase a multitiap and i was wondering where i could do that affordably.

i play on the same team with my friend and we are rock solid as PES AND WE Partners.

Or go down to any Game or similar shop.
You can get a second hand official multitap for £20.
Official mostly work better than cheap alternatives.

me and my mate are on the same team its great fun were doin a master league together on hard and i think were goin to cross over to extreme. should be interesting.

I agree, some third party multitaps don't even work with Sony games. I was a bit disappointed my old PS-one multitap doesn't work as I want to play 7-player, but I'm not buying another PS2 multitap for £20

believe me that there are3rd party multitaps which work just as good - joytechs multitap 4 ps2 is good

Other types can be used but they are unreliable in my experience.
Very dodgy and not working sometimes making you have to reset PES2 to see what's wrong.

Never try more than 6 players on one side for PES. I did it (admittedly on PES1) and the AI for deciding players is really annoying. It basically decides what area of the pitch u r based in (attack/MF or DF) and only really gives u players there. Then everyone abandons position and ur screwed. Mind u that's prob more to do with the players! Anyway, it never gives u the player u want! Aaaaarrrggghhhh!!!!

Sounds like a laugh! I can imagine 3v4, 4v4 being pretty funny. Most we can do at the mo' with a multitap is 5, although never tried them on the same team.

i tried eight on the same team and we lost a few matches but started winning after having a few bevvies. lol its harder than being on your own because you are constantly frustrated by other contributions. you have to give 110%.
