I'll be checking to see if this works with a patched version of the game. It doesn't always work.

If you can follow the above guide then congratulations and enjoy your game. But if CDRWin doesn’t like you or doesn’t work then you can use the steps below to make working cdrips, avoiding CDRWin.

After Step 6 you now have an ISO file.
Put this in a folder and do not modify it. Make a copy of it and only modify the copy. (I'd rename the original one to ORIGINAL so you know which one is which and you don't make a mistake or you'll have to go back to step one to make a new ISO. When you make a copy, rename it back to WE10J again). This is your ripISO.

New steps below:

-----------------------------

For a clean and unpatched WE10 CDrip

First you'll need the programs ISObuster, PS2 CDVDCheck, CDGenPS2.
They should be available in this thread: http://www.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=27986, here
Or here http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7OU94HX5, http://rapidshare.de/files/19804195/WE10_Rip_Tools.zip.html

a) Open ISObuster and open the ripISO and extract all the files into another new folder (called "blue").

b) When extraction is complete, Right click on the little red ISO tab and then click on the submenus like this:

"Directory tree and File information" then "list tree-info (in txt file)" then "LBA, Relative Path"

and then save it to the folder where all your extracted image files are located (the folder called "blue"). Make sure you put it in that directory. It will generate a file called "FileList.txt"

c) Open the program PS2 CDVDCheck.exe
Click on the button "Buscar", go to 'blue' and select the file called
"SLPM_663.74"

Select "Parchear para funcionar en CD" and click 'Parchear'.
(when done, click 'Aceptar' and then 'Salir' to close.

d) Open CDGenPS2 and Click "Advanced" and click "Import Tree File, from
IsoBuster" and select "FileList.txt" generated by IsoBuster. The Import Mode will popup and you should select "Import Ordering by LBA (no fix)".
All files will now be imported.

Click VOL on the left side of CDGenPS2 and rename the volume to
SLES_535.44
(click ok)

Lastly click IMG on the left side, choose a name for your bin & cue (“WE10Jclean”) and then save to a destination of your choice. Wait a few minutes for this process (I wouldn't do anything else on the pc during this).

When it's finished you will get the message "The Boat Has Arrived At Port" and you're done!

e) You now have a bin and cue CD image (at this point I'd reset my PC).
Burn with Nero at 4x (open Nero Express and then select 'Disc image or saved project' and then select the cue file which should be called
"WE10Jclean.cue"

Enjoy your CDrip!

To make a CDrip of a patched WE10 image

First you'll need the programs ISObuster, PS2 CDVDCheck, CDGenPS2, CDMage.
They should be available in this thread: http://www.pesinsight.com/showthread.php?t=27986, here or here
http://www.megaupload.com/?d=7OU94HX5, http://rapidshare.de/files/19804195/WE10_Rip_Tools.zip.html

A) Rip your original WE10 game disk to give you a fullgame ISO.
Apply a patch to this ISO. I used jonboyo's JB01.05.06WE10 patch on one rip (and another time I tried the Fernando V3 patch). This is now your patched ISO.

B) Open ISObuster and extract all the files from the patched ISO into a new folder (call it "green"). (close isobuster)

C) Open CDMage, open the ripISO using the default Image type setting which is “M1/2048 track [*.iso])”.
On the left side, left click on "Track 1 [Mode1/2048] [WE10J]".

On the right side of the screen, right click on J_text.afs and click “IMPORT FILE...”.
Select the J_text.afs from the "green" folder. When this is done do the same thing with the O_text.afs. This one takes a bit more time. When this is done, close CDMage.

D) Open ISObuster and open the ripISO (which is now patched), and extract all the files into another new folder (called "hello").

When extraction is complete, Right click on the little red ISO tab and then click on the submenu's like this:

"Directory tree and File information" then "list tree-info (in txt file)" then "LBA, Relative Path"

and then save it to the folder where all your extracted image files are
located (the folder called "hello"). Make sure you put it in that directory. It will generate a file called "FileList.txt"

E) Open the program PS2 CDVDCheck.exe
Click on the button "Buscar", go to 'hello' and select the file called
"SLPM_663.74"

Select "Parchear para funcionar en CD" and click 'Parchear'.
(when done, click 'Aceptar' and then 'Salir' to close.

F) Open CDGenPS2 and Click "Advanced" and click "Import Tree File, from IsoBuster" and select "FileList.txt" generated by IsoBuster (in the "hello" folder). The Import Mode will popup and you should select "Import Ordering by LBA (no fix)"
All files will now be imported.

Click VOL on the left side of CDGenPS2 and rename the volume to
SLES_535.44

Lastly click IMG on the left side, choose a name for your bin & cue
(WE10Jpatched) and then save to a destination of your choice. Wait a few minutes for this process (I wouldn't do anything else on the pc during this).
When it's finished you will get the message "The Boat Has Arrived At Port" and you're finally done!

G) You now have a bin and cue CD image (at this point I'd reset my PC).
Burn with Nero at 4x (open Nero Express and then select 'Disc image or saved project' and then select the cue file which should be called
"WE10Jpatched.cue"

Enjoy your CDrip!

==============================================

To make a rip of a different patch, make a new copy of your original ripISO and then follow the green guide again.

Thanks to dj dee for the main WE10 ripping guide and to Hawke for his WE9 ripping guide.

Any problems, just post here and I'll try to help.
I used the above methods to make a working clean CDrip as well as patched ones. I am not 100% certain that every single step I wrote needs to be done but I do know that by following these methods you will get working CDrips as an alternative to using the CDRwin method previously shown (CDRwin hates me and won't work so I hate it back!). Good luck and enjoy.

Don't think it matters where it is.
I'm in the process of uploading the 2 sounds files that you get after running the ripkit so hopefully it will allow people not to have to run the ripkit and can just copy over these files to make a ripISO.

Download link for the ripped files I uploaded:
http://files.filefront.com/WE10_ripped_sound_files_Zrar/;5046962;;/fileinfo.html

Includes the files:
SLPM_663.74
0_SOUND.AFS
J_SOUND.AFS
IOPRP300.IMG

plus you'll need this file too:
The Ripped Intro here >> http://www.megaupload.com/?d=0ZST22TT

Rip your original WE10 ISO as usual and then open it in CDMage. Right click on the files listed above and select to IMPORT the files from the downloaded rip files (to replace the files from the original ISO with the rip files I uploaded). I believe this should give you a ripISO which you can use in CDRwin as shown in the first post or in either of the methods I explained in the second post.

Hope this is all right and that it works. If not we'll try to sort it out.
