They are pretty much the same as in PES2.

Best National Team - France.
Best Club Team - Real Madrid or AC Milan.
Best (ie highest stats) - Pelé?
Favourite Player - Shevchenko/Beckham

But are you sure are their are no new players which are vert good??? Or players who have become better????

Mostly they are the same. Maybe a few under-rated players were improved.

Also, it would depend on whether the patch makers would want to make anyone better.
