Ermm, have you played WE7:I ? That´s catching up 
This aspect of the game is very good balanced in WE8, in my opinion. If you have a fast attacker, and a normal defender, and both have green form arrows, than usually the defender has no chance, once you passed him. The situation changes if eg the attacker has a grey or blue arrow and the defender a red one.

Yeah I bought WE7:I, it was worse on that.
I played again last night for a further 5 hours and could still only score mainly diving headers, i have waited till the last minute as well to press the shoot button but the player just wont volley the damn thing, no matter how low the is it always goes for the diving header, really annoying...

there were definatley two teams in the tunnel. boith real madrid. when one should have been manchester united. that spanishleague crap doesnt apply cause man utd was one of the teams. this moght be the reason there is this bug cause of the spanish teams coming out first crap. it must confuse the game when one team is spanish and the other is form a different country

We complain because we are human beings. By not complaining Konami would not bother improving the game. I mean if Jimmy Hill never complained that 2 points for winning matches wasn't enough. Then everyone in Football would be playing for draws.diggi said:

i am currently translating weverything myself in-game. i have done about 40%. i am also doing transfers. what struck me was thaat there were 2 kezmans. the one for serbia and montenegro is differnt to the one in PSV. they have differnt stats and a different appearance. which one should i transfer to Chelsea? the PSV one is better.
i am not using a program. when i meant translating i was talking about changing all the name s of the players and teams into english.
basically when you ggo on edit player (the first option in edit mode). select the team and the player. once the player is selected the foirst optipn is edit player name. then you get three options. the first its to actually change his name. the second is his call name and the third is the name on the shirt. by looking at the shirt name you know the players name as it is in english. go back and go on the option to change his name and select one of the japanese options on the side. i think it is the 5th one (notsure) that changes the characters on the right to english ones. which tyou can use to change the players name. doesnt take long once you know what you are doing. after the first few players you'll be able to do it no problem.

the tunnel thing is not a big letdown.
the missing striped shirts in edit mode and the back-to-default when playing ML (if it only affects the stats, then i am ok with it, as long as the appearance and names stay changed)

Gunplay, please don`t call me a prick or a newbie, I`ve been around the boards , not only this one probably longer than you but this is the problem. People always complain, and it will probably stay that way. You have to understand something. You`re playing a video-game, and what Konami is trying to do is make sure that you can play that game as you were playing with real human players. It`s really pointless saying that headers are too hard, when in WE7IJ or WE7 they were easy to perform. And OBI - I really don`t care about you losing 50 pounds, nobody forced you to buy the game, and certanly Konami didn`t force you to buy it. People have been complaining to Konami for years because they couldn`t play online and did Konami listen ?, the answer is no. And the another story that is pissing the hell out of me is random people coming here and making fake reports about PES4 being online , and they are the ones who can`t afford to modify their PS2`s and play WE8, I mean wouldn`t that bother you.
