Yea, well played Zygalski. I have that magazine...is it maybe a bit underrated? Should it not get 100%?

P.S. I've always wondered, has anybody ever seen a game get 100%? I havent...

They said in their review that English teams will have real names? That's interesting, though, i'm guessing this review was written a while back, I think it's too close to the release date now to make it possible?

What a crap review. Looks like a 10 year old did it! And as for the

"players will still take the ball into touch for no apparent reason" and...

"offside decisions are incorrectly programmed"

To me, these are spot on, especially the offsides, inch perfect, i have no complaints with that so i dunno where they get this from. Anyway, 93%, I dont agree, surely a 95 or 96%?

I think when they say real English names, they just mean, instead of Arzegum it will be North London, which is more English than Arzegum....hmmmm, actually, ok i dunno what they meant, lol but we wont see the teams licensed anyhows...unless there is something we don't know bout.

cheers for the review i agree with t1000v2.0 that offsides and the takin the ball in to touch, i cant see a problem.
jus a word of warnin like a typical newbie make sure u dont get gripped bout scannin and postin unless of course u found those pics and posted them but dont know who the pics belong to*nudge nudge*

I don't get alot of their criticisms, like "players refusing to play it first time when running out of play" and "wrong offside calls"?.

Also can anyone explain what they mean by too much scripted play?, i don't get it.

Scripted means when you can't do anything about it, the computer is controlling what happens

If you don't get the first thing you mentioned - "players refusing to play it first time when running out of play" - then you havn't played PES enough

And to understand this one - "wrong offside calls" - you need a basic knowledge of the English language, it's not difficult

well psm2 only gave it a 92% but that was because they said that pes 4 is gonna be even better thats why they didn't give it something like 97%

They can't give such high ratings just yet. PES4 has got to be worth 3-4% more than PES3. And at that rate, we'll be playing games rated over 120%!

What is a 100% footie game anyways? Maybe it's one where you control players so life-like that it is just like watching a real match where you control what they players do.
Add amazing commentary to the standard of Sky Sports. There's no way a game with the poor PES commentary deserves 95%+ no matter how great the gameplay is.

90s indicated that the game is near perfection but it still has some way to go before it gets there as there are too many small niggles in the game to keep it from that.

Hopeful for the next PES game though!

Zyg's right. You've got to remember that as great as PES is and it is great it doesn't have nearly enough licensed teams or players and the commentary isn't close to being of 'Sky Sports' quality although I personally find it quite funny and great to laugh at especially when playing with mates.

Yeah, I mean perhaps in the years to come, such as PES5 or PES6 anything could happen though, Konami could suddenly go bust and there would never be another PES game ever again!

But I still dont get how they think the players still run the ball out..i think there is far better control of the players now...wasnt too bad in pes3 either...just had it in pes1 and 2 really, but in this version, its fine, as well as the offsides. I mean did these guys even play the game..or just watch others playing it?

I still think it was a poor review..ok 93% is fair enough though.

I do agree with the Scripted play, there are alot of times when u cant do much but watch, which is extremely irritating

I totally agree with the review. 93% is a good score for WE8, without the slowdown I would give it a 95%. The scripted play is indeed still there occasionally and YES, YES, YES the false offside calls are there. But I am willing to believe that it was put in by Konami to make it even more realistic because in real live it happens too ...... PES4 could be the better one this time but not big time I think.
