Man someone has got to start hosting these. This Torrent stuff is for the birds. Jtext is only like 15megs and i've yet to get over 0% of it downloaded.

All you need to do is replace the J_Text and create a new IML, then the ISO.
btw, forgot to ask WEmerica about the real title for 'The Rock' song.

Hi all,
Very silly question/problem that I am having with the new patch which looks great btw. I have kinda patched a new ISO which was easier than I thought and it is the correct patch as the intro screen is different and you have Drogba, Henry etc on the option/menu screens.
My problem is that the commentary is still in Japanese and option file v4.2 does not work as the kits are all black and when I try to use the Nike Aero ball it appears on the game as the Adidas ball!! Do I need to use the option file 4.4 transfer it to cd and then copy it to my memory card in order for all the above to work? Or does someone already have a max drive/xport file that can be downloaded.
I will seed this patch later tonite for anyone who wants it.

Up to now all WE9 English commentary 0_SOUND.afs contain some Jap commentaries, remember that the English file comes from a previous release to WE9 so any new names, and other calls found in WE9 original file could not be overwritten, as they did not exist in previous English release. So some Jap calls will be heard but all the rest will be in English....
...Option File v4.4 bin/cue (link in Post #1) works 100%.
Had problems loading from WEmerica's original bincue,
created new bincue with larger DUMMY file, this helps
the PS2 lens read the CD properly as very small data CD's
may cause lens to skip/jump and fail to load.
Thanks for that Tyrvas. I will have to try and repatch that again, with regards to the balls, kits, english names etc is it because I have not got the proper option file?
Also, I have got the swap magic and not a chipped PS2. Will downloading the bin/cue file to the cd and putting it into the PS2 work or does it the PS2 need to be chipped. If I do need to get the PS2 chipped, is there anyway that you or anyone could get a copy of it for the max drive or will i have to suffer!!

burn speed @ x4, in "Datatype" box select "Playstation 2", burn CD.
(similar burnin appz may be used)

anyway you should patch your original one, to have the patched edition.

But with regards to the footballs, boots, kits…I can see the Nike footballs in the option screen before I play the match and select the Yellow premiership ball but when the match starts it is the Adidas ball only. The boot problem is very similar, the Nike Vapour and Puma King are just variations of Adidas boots (eventhough the boot name states Vapour or Puma King). Has it been patched wrong or am I being thick and again will it be sorted when the option file is all loaded.
As for the commentary I will re-patch the DVD again with the sound and see what happens…hopefully I will get it done correctly this time.

Did the following...
edit player -> pick team then player -> Appearence -> boots...
...9 types available...
type 1 (no name) has several colour options,
other 8 consist of Puma, Nike, Umbro & Adidas.
...changed boots to Larson & Ronaldinho (Umbro & Addidas)...
...selected Yellow Nike ball in general settings for exhibition match...
...ball and changed player boots appeared in match...
No problems at all.

...player transfers - latest formations - player name translations - more fake players deleted - fix real names - assign player boots - player values adjusted - over 100 missing players created - 13 missing face mixes added...

So you get an error message...hmmm
please quote what it exactly says on the message,
that would be of great help.
Did you check/install ASPI (to check if APSI is OK -> apsichk.exe).
Is version you are using v2.0 supplied with WEmerica 5.0 Final?
Try previous release such as v1.50 (maKe a search).

This is just a beautiful patch. Well done. I am enjoying it so much.
Is there an issue with how the replaced adboards work? I notice that many of them are mirrored. Like at highbury look in the stands, the 02 logo is reversed for half the stadium. Same goes for the Canal Plus adboards and the Alliance Allianz adboards and the Vodafone logo at Old Trafford.
Not really a big deal at all as the patch is fantastic.
