What is direct goal kick special skill for?

Westerveld has this. Not sure who else. What is it actually meant to do? Is it of any use?

It allows the keeper to do longer direct kicks. Works for both drop kicks :square: & first touch kick outs.
Several keepers have the skill. The kick can go well past the centre circle.

just a harder more accurate gk thats it , supposed to help when u need long ball at end of game etc cya
