What the hell is patching?

Hmm gotta be honest i've not had any dealings with patching ps2 games before either.... but sounds a wicked idea in order to get more realism in ur game. So is it possible to actually make a patch with real quality looking boots (other than the ones that r licenced)??

Patching is editing the actual game files on the disc.

Its really easy to apply the patches, but Ive got no idea what to do If I was gonna create my own patch

When I first came onto the Forum I wasn't entirely sure what patching was. I know what it is now but I don't patch myself.

I can't make my own patches but it's quite easy to patch on ps2 just find the right thread and follow the step by step instructions.I onley got my pc a feiw months ago and now im playing wemerica with fifa commentery and full kits it makes such a difference to the game.
