Well i have the Messiah chip, its booting everything without problems. Heard only positives sounds about it.
Sorry cant help you with where to get from, only have dutch adresses and internetsites. I bet you dont want these:)
But I would say look a bit around for the Messiah and you will be convinced.;)

He used to supply the Messiah 2 but has moved on to the better Matrix MXL2 chip (in his opinion).

Quite a few people here have used this place.
Haven't ever heard any complaints of the service.

I'd recommend the DMS3 chip (probably 'cuase that's what I've got installed!). It really is the dogs bollocks. Plays everything, even divx movies, and even removes the green screen movie playback shit that occurs when you use an RGB scart.

I wouldn't install it myself. Unless you are a master of soldering.
If you want to wreck your PS2, just give it away instead.

I'd buy a pre-chipped console. Theres a few dealers if your based in UK. Not sure if we can post links here but i will if someone from admin will confirm. Personally i have the dms3, and as mumpleaser says its the bogs dollocks.....luckily for me a friend with soldering experience fitted it....and he said it was a toughie.

Experts say the DMS3 is the best chip, it´s also the most expensive I think, but Messiah or Matrix will also play all backups and imports without any problems. I recommend you one of those 3, and like our Flying Dutchman and Toxic Samurai Admin said don´t install it yourself if you´re not a master of soldering.
