What mode will you concentrate on

I've always loved the idea of controlling just one player and trying to make my way up the leagues.
I found Euro2008 to be quite an enjoyable game as a result (hell, i even enjoyed Libero Grande years ago) but what PES09 promises to do sounds amazing.
On Euro2008, try as i might, i kept on requesting the ball, Pro wont let me do this
On Euro2008, however bad i played i was never subbed, Pro will sub me
On Euro2008 i was never dropped, Pro will drop me
Oh, and the new FIFA be a pro lasts for four season, thats not a career (unless you're matty piper)- pro is going to let me play for 21 seasons, absolutely class. Add this to the other major advantage (that Pro is Pro and wont play like FIFA!) and you have what should be, in my opinion, a ground breaking mode for the series
So, to answer your question, i love master league mode, always have always will (particularly assuming most of my favourite made up players from the last version are back) but will find it hard to fit it in as i am going to be playing the become a legend mode almost non stop for a few months!

Yh, you did remind me of how good it could be plus you'd have Legends mode online so i guess i might aswell give it a bash. I think if this game lives up to the hype it will be the last game ill need to pes 2010. Only prob with legends is that online it imo would be pretty rubbish playing if all your stats were rock bottom and your teamates's stats were good as they would probably shut you out of the game if you were loosing.

Really looking forward to mastering the become a legend mode
Well will probably wait till either an option file update or do the edits myself before i play a master league (which i will concentrate on loads i suspect) so i will probably start the become a legend mode 1st & play online too with some friends. But there seems to be so much to do in the 09 version that i probably wont be playing other games now.

I completely forgot about Become A Legend. I was going to focus mainly on ML, but I'll try out BAL first. If it's crap, I'll probably ignore it, but if it's good, then I'll split between BAL and ML.
The plan is:
- Day 1 : Play a few exhibitions and try out the edit mode.
- Day 2 : Start ML, to see what it's like. Mainly to test the difficulty of transfers and to see how players develop.
- Some time later : After I've tried ML, I'll complete the International tournaments, to unlock players for my next (proper) ML team.
- While I'm doing all this, I'll be trying the BAL mode every now and again, but more frequently if it's good.
I don't usually play league modes, but I may do this time round, to have a more comprehensive list of unlocked players.
Whether I'll keep to this plan, I don't know.

I've been playing pro evo since the iss days, but can someone please explain to me the option file, i've seen it around the editing section of the game, but can someone just quickly sum up what it is, i sound like a complete idiot lol but just want to clarify what it means.

Become A Legend mode looks so promising, the camera angles will let you see everything around you as well, can't wait =) I'll still do the Master League and that though =)

The option files you can download on this site is basically an option file you'll use to replace the current PES09 option file on your ps3/xbox360. The option file will most likely include proper squad updates, correct names for all players, teams, leagues, stadiums etc. Basically it will save you a lot of time and effort to make everything look as realistic as possible in the game. For instance the premier league sides will have their proper names and kits once you downloaded a decent option file and copied it onto your ps3/xbox360.

No Problem dude, you can download the option file from this site onto your flash drive and copy it to your console, and all the changes, kits etc. will be correct.
Watch out for lfc_power's option file, his is totally biased towards liverpool and the liverpool players have mainly overated stats, and he creates players like "mpower" who's stats is all 99, and these players completely fucks up your whole master league!
