Which Chip is best for PS2?

Just wanna know which quickly which chip is best for playing imports and patched games (getting WE7 and it'll be patchable soon lol) ... Messiah 2?

Messiah 2 Pro, MAGIC 3.1 and DMS3... if you are serious about a mod chip those are the ones you should look at.

There are all those non-solder chips etc but they don't have the functionality. My recommendation would be Messiah 2 Pro provided you have the resources, Magic and DMS are also very good chips, but the Messiah takes it on pure functionality...providing you use the chips to their full capabilities which most do not... in which case cheaper options are suggested as the majority will just want WE7 and be able to play a backup copy of it.

why dont you buy a slide card as its one of the best ways to play backups on your ps2 console without the need of a mod chip. if you go back through some of the threads in the editing forum, there's plenty of sources to gather information about adequate mod chips etc.

Jag, please make a good thread in both these sections with info on all methods of playing import/copied games.
Name it something like - "Methods to play WE7 and other import games". Include links on where to buy the stuff too. I know there are some threads in the Editing section with all this info and it may take some time to find.

This will help people stop asking the same old questions.
