diouf should be in the world squad in this game as he plays well and has good stats. but in real life, he is not suited to the english game, too many tricks and flicks never work. he should be in italy or spain.

Okocha seems to be doing alright for a player who does all that IRL. Fair enough Diouf in the game.

but okocha is a different class from diouf, he also scores and sets up goals in every game. would bolton still be up if he wasnt playing for them, tough to say, but probably not. plus, he plays behind the striker, kind of, whereas diouf plays up front. either way, i see what you're saying, and i suppose it was kind of unfair for me to say that about diouf, maybe its just a tough first season.

I will keep this IRL stuff brief. I checked and he scored zero goals in the WC. And how many goals has he scored for Liverpool? There are other Senegalese players I rate higher. Papa Diop, Fadiga, Cisse, Diao and Coly. Ok no more real life now!

Okocha has been immense. There is no doubting that, he has single handedly kept up Bolton (with Djorkeaff).

lets get off th strikers, what about the bag four/three/five? id play a back three of samuel, lucio and montero and have roberto carlos and cafu(where have i heard that before?) at wing backs.

NO NO NO! All he did was have one god game in the WC. That was it! There is no doubt that if a player has a good WC his value doubles. Liverpool have learnt the hard way.

Don't forget Roger Milla and George Weah. Almost always play 4-4-2. But then again I've only just started playing on hard. So I guess I'll have to think about formation and tactics more as I move up the game. But on hard. Carlos, Thuram, Tudor & Ferdinand aren't bad.

i wish PES could introduce that kind of feet dragging thing that he does when he takes penalties the way they did the beckham free-kick, cuz its just so cool.

Yes they should add that in.

P.S. Isn't it illegal to slow down and fake your movements during a penatly?

Apologies for getting carried away!!! Weah is in there as an unlockable classic player. Wreh I think... which is weird as his nephew Christopher Wreh once played for Arsenal

that was his nephew?!? but he was aweful(well, compared to the man himself) its illegal to stop and re-run i think, but i dont think its illegal until you get within a certain distance of the ball. he only does it for a couple of steps though, and then just runs(and how fast is that!!)

To be fair to Diouf, he has been played wide midfield for Liverpool rather than in his preferred position of striker.

Well I was watching a game between Rayo Vallecano and Seville and I swear I saw them almost stopping completely...

Anyway, Christopher Wreh is a brilliant bloke. I met him in Denmark at an International football tournament I was playing in. He was so incredibly nice and at the time he was playing for Arsenal, anyway he was sponsering the Libyian National Under 21's to play there. What a brilliant gesture!
