I bet there are several threads like this knocking about, but it would really help me if a few people could just give us a few hints on who to buy.

I already have a good selection of strikers: Messi, Rooney, Gignac and Tevez. I'm looking to buy anotehr, money isn't really a big deal, I've won a lot of games. Who wouuld you go for? I'm 4 seasons in. I was looking at Torres and Radamel Garcia (I think) but I don't know if they're worth it.

Also, who would be the best 18-25 year old centre backs to buy?

Strikers: Benzima, Agbonlahor, Torres, Eto'o, Owen (as long as he aint over 28), fat Ronaldo (As long as he aint over 25).

defenders: Micah Richards (quality), R.Ferdinand, Pique (comes good eventually)

I don't recommend having 3 goalkeepers.
Just keep 2.
And I think you should only have about 4 strikers.
You have 7 which is too much.

I keep 3, as on occasions (usually mid way through season) they get tired and can't cope!! Cech for me is getting old, still quality but now it's a turn for some1 else. Same with Foster really did me well but not really a top class GK and Dida is a baby climbing up the ranks!!

defenders that are young. Michah Richards, Kompany, Palmieri are all great.

Strikers. Schwarz, Rowland, Gambino, Gervinho.

Nani,Anderson,pique,walcott,torress,rooney,kaka,messi,drenthe,sergio ramos,

Keep an eye on the rookie section during the negotiations as the retired players are reborn in there and you can develop them.
I tend to get my players this way as i prefer to train them myself as they get good at the way you want to play.

QFT. Plus you have longer to train them in certain area for example if you know say owen is going an absolute sniper or the ball but his jumping and FK ability isn;t that great you have quite a few years to train him in FK etc.

I don't like using reborn players though (to the one guy that suggested it), it's not cheating but it feels a bit wrong somehow.

Schwarz, big German striker, he should be in your ML by now.

He's big, strong, fast, amazing power and accuracy and left footed.

I'd say he's like Adriano but far far better. If he's young give him time to grow, he'll be unstoppable.

Also Orellano, Aguero, Anelka, should do you well.

Depends, I don't see it as cheating, I think in a season or two time i'll stop using natural reborns, I don't use Legends, so Rookies are the only way to get decent class players in years to come.

Nah neither of them are cheating. I can't justify, I just feel weird using classic players.

If anyone else wants to that's fair play, I don't class them as bad players for doing it.

Get Aguero and Mexes.

Mexes is one of the few young CBs that has got any Specials.

Aguero has very good abilities for his age, so i can only imagine how amazing he becomes in a couple of years.
