Ok this may sound daft but I have no clue. Why is it the NIPPON challenge?? Is it like we have UEFA they have NIPPON?

Nippon is the japanese word for Japan.

So I guess they named it so people in Japan can pick up the challenge of guiding their nation to the world cup,
