It doesn't make sense. Why would the English Premiership want to sell its rights to just EA when it could sell them to Konami as well and make double the money. And lets face it, Konami have got the money with the amount of copies of WE/PES they shift.

Why don't we start a petition in the Sun? Get the whole of the UK to pressure the FA and Konami!

I believe you can get it chipped. Check the General Editing section sticky thread where there may be more info.


I don't know what's going on with the licences any more .I hate the fact that if a team is licenced in PES you can only edit their formation and nothing else. I don't see the point of this.
They should be a bit more imaginative with the commentary words they use for team names. Adding a "United" and "City" would be a lot better than the silly made-up names they use at the moment.

And even if they did buy the licences they would have to use last season's kits so that would be almost as bad as it is now. Patching seems the way forward in solviing this.

i agree a 110% withe zyg, PES half of the game is the editing function...

I do enjoy editing PES, it has become part of the game for me. However, i would rather not have to do it, but at least if Konami develop the editor so that it is more in-depth and user friendly, then i will be happy.

Probably EA bought an exclusive license and they have paid more than normal to include in the contract that the license will be only on their game.
