Will Matthews' shot improve ?

Hi all,
Matthews is an awesome player but his shot is so poor (starts with something like shot acc. and tech ~55 ). Also, I don't know exactcly how it works, but his development curve looks awful.
So I wanted to know if some of u guys hired him and suceeded in improving his shot ?

I did for a bit and he is a good player, he doesnt develop for long though and isnt really that worth it, his shooting doesnt exactly go through the roof. Remember he was the Wizard of Dribble not a shooting extraordinare.

yeah that's true. But he was also an extraordinary passer and was very good at creating goal opportunities.
Anyways, after only 1/2 season, I have improved his shot acc. and tech. to almost 70...

I have him also but i like to use him as a WF to give those great passes in the box and let Gullit head them in. I'm actually waiting his teamwork skill to improve instead of shooting.

yeah, marrius is Matthews (Stanley).
Onetimer, it's very good to use Matthews as a passer. However, have you tried to give him a through pass ? He's so fast that he's way ahead on the ball, leaving defenders behind. That's why I'm trying to improve his shot (teamwork improves easily).

just simply score many goals with matthews and his shot tech will fly up but i don't know about his accuracy as long as you score lots of goals with him i am sure it will improve.

jus train him every week of the off season time and make sure u put in friendly matches because then u get the two halves of the weak where u can train them twice in the week jus do the shot training and he shud improve

yeah, they get a lot of exp. points during off-season matches.
About training, I recently realized that when u do the shot training, only the first guy (the one that initiates the one-two) gets exp. points! I didn't know that, because for the other trainings, e.g., corners, all the players get exp. points, even if they do nothing!
I thought it might be usefull for u to know this...

True true. Get him in the box and as a winger pass to him so he cannot miss. I did that with Rossi and made sure I scored at least 1 in a match with him. His shooting will increase pretty well. Get a hat-trick and you'll be flying!
