Roberto Carlos in the All Time World Eleven? You must be joking!
he is no defender at all!

let me explain why:
1. he can´t tackle
2. he is too small so he can´t win headers
3. he´s physically too weak to win one-on-ones

that should be enough.
i admit he could well play in left midfield instead of defence.
he´s damn fast and as we all know a deadly marksman with a bomb shot.

I've got this book! It's quite an interesting read, he takes it one stage further by actually predicting results between all-time teams, but that guy really did his research; the bibliography has about 200 books/articles in it!

He does 2 all-time world teams:

First Team:

Lev Yashin; Carlos Alberto; Bobby Moore; Franz Beckenbauer; Paolo Maldini; Johan Cruyff; Johan Neeskens; Alfredo Di Stefano; Diego Maradonna; Pele; Ferenc Puskas

Second team:

Gordon Banks; Victor R. Andrade; Franco Baresi; Obdulio Varela; Nilton Santos; Garrincha; Lothar Matthaus; Michel Platini; George Best; Gerd Muller; Bobby Charlton

Not bad for an amateur!
Lol, 6 out of my 11 aren't in either team!!

My team is the same as that first team, but with best on left (instead of di stefano) garrincha on right (instead of neeskens) and van basten instead of puskas.

Marco Boogers would be on my bench.
