Worst pes ever??

i dont understand how people can still be playing this poor excuse for a football game ,konami take ure graphics and shove um ure ass,s
and fix the sloppiest most flawed pes game ever
so many problems with this game im not even gonna bother listing them all

i think they should start releasing this every two years from now on and just releasing patches of updated transfers
so they can stop churning out shit like 2010

I have been playing PES since the international superstar soccer in playstation 1 and for me, this is the best PES by far. Yes I hate the referee and some minor bugs, but the gameplay is really enjoyable and beautiful.

I respectfully disagree. I think it may have to do with how we adjust our gameplay from year to year...I love the dribbling and the fact you cannot just take the ball with one guy and tear up...the refs call less fouls/penalties adding to the flow and the goalies make crazy saves and at the same time bobble, just like in real life. The only thing I don't like is the new view/system for taking penalites. They messed with a perfect penalty system.

I respect your opinion and am greatful that those of us that enjoy football games have choices-FIFA or PES. Those of us in the States don't have choices when it comes to American Football with lisences owned by just EA. Competition is great for everyone involved. Maybe you'll like next years version.

Pes 2010 has some annoying problems which I didn't like to see them, but overall pes 2010 is a pretty good experience.

See this is what i dont get, fair enough you enjoy the game, i played a game the other day and can sort of understand why pes fans who dont consider fifa an option can like this game.

However, I dont understand how anyone can think PES2010 is represents a real game of football, i mean, fifa10 is a bugged up piece of shit, but fuck me, that is a FAR more realistic interpretation of football.

pes is so outdated, i pick up the controller after a game of fifa and it feels so limited in terms of what it offers the user.

I think the fact people like this game, says alot more about the pes series over the last few years than it does about how great the game is.

Having said that, I would like to give PES2010 more of a chance at some stage, especially the master league, dunno if i will though.

^I agree but only on some aspects of pes. For example the speed is faster than in reality,and yes it needs better depth like at least a power bar in passing and better player movements. But apart from that, pes plays really good.
It resembles real aspects of football.
And also fifa is not by far the better sim because fifa has it's own problems.
But then again, both fifa and pes have certain problems that can never be considered a sim. Unfortunately both games aren't an advanced sim enough.

ok ill list my main problems with it
after a week of play learning the game ill admit i was struggling abit but now the game is so good damn easy ..
-the AI tactics are- try to put you asleep with there football so they can catch on the counter when ure dozing off thats the only way they can score

-passing is so ridiculous any team can pass like barca and individual players passing all seems to damn accurate
-lofted through balls ,i mean the amount of times ive wanted to do a little delicate through ball and there ridiculously overhit
-i like to play a passing game but the tempo is a joke
-nearly every cross ends up a goal but goals from corners are few and far between ,you can be awfull at the game but run to the corner and cross you will score many goals online
-ai defensive line
-im not 100% sure but i think this year theyve put the least ammount of effort into commentary in any pes (copied and pasted from 2009 and added a few lines) and the most horrible crowd chants
-imo the card system should never have been introduced over special ability,
-formations not beng saved properly
-made it harder to have a quick glance at players stats when playing someone
- getting hacked down in the box and u still be hard pushed too win a penalty (i think the refs only call if ure getting gang raped by the defenders)
but there so trigger happy just outside the box
i cant think of anymore atm]

a few more pc specific problems--

-why the fuck does the game lower my music when im gonna play someone online ....

-if like me you have AMD and face someone with an intel (or vise versa) the game gets cut of for unforseen circumstances when online

By far the best "nex-gen" soccer game to date. I think if you are on PC you need to take advantage of the patches, tools, graphics - everything. Head over to evo web or moddingway - there's a reason this game for the PC is so great.

Some of this shit has been going on for a while tho, the indviduality is HUGELY overrated in PES in regards to the way teams play and stankovic run run past about 3 players for pace.

Its not a Sim, its something else, dont know what that is, but pes aint no SIM

And no game can beat pes 2008 so far for downright nastyness, although fifa's 10's manager mode straight out of the box with no updates gives it a run for its money.

Ya, but 2008 was a classic turd, i might just go back and buy that game, just to relive how shit that game actually was, fucking atrocious, I wouldnt even throw that game in the bin, it needs to be qurantined so it cant get back into public circulation.
