Is winning eleven scheduled for release on the X-Box in north America or just on the PAL system in the fall?

Also, do to the fact that Winning Eleven 8 will be coming to the X-Box in the fall, and that the main selling point (well to me anyway) is that the X-Box is all about online gaming, do you think they will make the game online for X-Box only? I think that they actually might because that is what X-Box is for, i mean their slogan is "Its good to play together" and they are all about X-Box Live, in which I think they did a good job of setting it up. So I think that there is a chance that they will make their version of WE8 online. Any thoughts?

So you´re now sure that you´re referring to PES ? ;)
I´ll try to answer your questions, however I´m not an expert for XBOX questions. I´ve only heard of an European version so far, and I didn´t see any info about online-play, so I assume that when they don´t write anything about online-mode there won´t be simply no online-mode...

well if that is true, then I am glad to hear it. I still think if it does, they might put it online since i said above, its just what x-box is known for and they try to have all their sports game online now, though it is mostly with EA Sports.

Hold on do you mean to tell me that we8-11(which is what we ere in da states get) is not gonna be on the box but PES4 will be? Makes no sense seeing as the U.S is the xbox's primary bill payers. Considering that majority of the people who have x-box's live in America(and we do have a high percentage of soccer followers) Konami decided they wouldn't put it out?

Maybe you will get WE8:International in February/March 2005 on the box in the states, which will be exactly the same like PES4, just with another name, PES4 will be released on the Xbox, but only for European consoles I think. The Japanese version of WE8 will not be released on the Xbox, it will be only released for the PS2 and only in Japan, it was never different, you in the US never got WE, just the "international" version, which was, like I said before, exactly the same like PES but different to the original Japanese WE.

Its just a shame we have to wait longer than WE players and even longer than PS2 PES players! Why does this world have to be so cruel to european xbox users!

O so we do have to wait an extra 2 weeks(aprox) for the xbox version......better be better then the ps2 version because of the long wait!!
