X-Port -> over.AFS

How is this done?

Is there a program?

I am using jonboyos all ripkit 28.10.03 patch and I want to replace the over.afs with the data from the PESFAN v4 option file.

Is this worth the hassle, if so, how can it be done?

You cannot replace over.afs with an option file!! The AFS and option file are 2 different formats! option file is the data on your memory card and the over.afs is actually on the disc. Look around newbie!

It´s a little bit tricky, you have to make a ppf-file of your Option file and then you can apply this ppf-file over your patched image.
So you´ll have then the Jonboyo 28.10. with your option file included on the CD
Check the patching tutorials at www.pesinsight.com, the tutorial no. 10 will help you

I aint a newbie, just didn't bother registering for ages as I had no reason to post.

Incorporating the data from the PESFAN *.xps into the OVER.AFS file *is* possible, and has been done many a time before.

Get the facts before flaming please.

Update: Maybe I'm just being daft, but I can't find any linkage to the xps2ovr_v0.08c program, can anyone help?

haven´t found the tool on lomungtung, perhaps it´s the "ppf-maker by Chilavert" in the applications folder. This would be my only suggestion. I´ll let you know if I find something at evo-web or issextreme.

I don´t know how to do this, have never done it before, that´s why I gave you the advice to look at tutorial no. 10 at pesinsight.com
Just wanted to say that it´s possible

1st attempt, no joy, locks up at menu screen.

Going to make another coaster by burning just with the patch, no change to the AFS apart from the changes the patch asks for.

Sorry Pal, didnt mean to offend. I wasnt possible that could be done but now i do! I'll get the facts right before posting nxt time.

No problem, I can't get it to work at the moment anyway, but it is possible, most PPF files contain info from an XPS created at some point.
