hey all

i am thinking about getting an xbox 360 in the morning, and i have found a bundle i am interested in. the bundle is ::

Premium Pack 360 - with 20gb hard drive, etc.
PGR 3
Need For Speed: Most Wanted
Tomb Raider
Kameo
Ghost Recon
and an additional wired controller

is this worth the money, the amount of this is £400.

do you think i should get this?

I don't think anyone in their right mind should spend £400 on video games, or even consoles. Unless of course you're minted. In that case, can you get me the same while you're there.

do you kno if pes5 and forza motorsport plays on the 360? as they are the only games i play on normal xbox

PGR 3 - This game blew me away at first with the graphics, defintely a game tpo get if you want to 'advertise' your 360 to friends :tongue: In gameplay its also good, and one of the best driving simulation out now

Need For Speed: Most Wanted - Im not a big fan of this whole modded driving game genre,so i wont say anything.......

Tomb Raider - This game dont look bad, cant really judge since i havent played it, but im considering buying it if that helps you

Kameo - Not really good if you ask me, it pretty much didnt interest me even on co-op with a mate. Its not because its kiddy, but the gameplay if fairly linear and just annoying

Ghost Recon- A must have, especially for online play, even with only the single player is pretty good............

£400 Is a bit harsh......but im not sure what it costs seperately, i would also say that you should get a another wireless controller, once youve played without a wire you dont want to go back. Still youll need to make sure you get rechargable batteries at that :unsure:

Silver edition is free, but you can't do much, as in you cant play games online. However you get 1 month free GOLD membership at first, which lets you play games, and is not automatically subscribed to be updated after the first 1 month, so you're not conned into paying more.

I got an Xbox 360 at Christmas for around the same price, with 4 games and 2 controllers, but after the first week or two, have hardly played it. I've found it quite disappointing. Maybe if I have the patience to setup Xbox live (had difficulties in doing so when I first tried), I might think differently.

If your heart is set on getting it, i'd recommend finding a package that includes Call Of Duty 2 and Perfect Dark Zero. They're the best games i've played on it so far. Top Spin 2 and PGR3 are also good.

Yeah thats right, silver dose nowt really just lets you make a profile and stuff like that.

Dont worry mate i aint no exprt either, and I dont usually play with my mic anyways. I was suppose to get cod2 with my 360, but i was pretty much straped for cash after 2 games.

Reyes what problems have you had? router?

I'm not sure what the problem was, but I remember having some difficulty in getting the IP and all that rubbish to connect. Phoned NTL, and the Xbox live helpline, but they kept putting me through to other people, so in the end, couldn't be bothered with all the hassle and gave up.
