Am I just crap at PES6?

I've been in Division 1 on and off for most of the time I've played this game. Never been brilliant, the highest I ever get is around 10,000. However now I am something like 130,000 and I don't know why. Seems like everyone and anyone can beat me. Is this just me or have other people found this?

no, keep playing, ive often felt this game is premeditated in tournaments like this and no matter what you do, is impossible to win

No mate, I don't play online often but I know I should do better than what Im doing at the minute. My mates come round to mine and we have a few games and their good players with good online records and when I play them I always come out on top but online I have a terrible record, so much so I won't tell what it is.

thanks for the encouragement!

However, sometimes I am really good, I have beaten people that are ranked in the 2,000's, I once played a guy rated 66th and he only just managed a 2-1 win in extra-time. Sometimes its me, whatever I do I can't score, I often have twice the number of shots on goal of a person that beats me. Basically I am massively inconsistant.

I've never played online, but I have watched it before with keen interest. There's a lot of people out there who just have the knack of scoring, and they often do very, very well online. But saying that, they are rarely creative and they're types who would take the uninspiring, quickest route to goal as opposed to having a crack from 30 yards. I'm sure this is how/why they beat people, by taking advantage of the more 'dynamic' player. They just know how to win, which is obviously great, but even so I've definitely seen far better players lose. The reason I'm saying all of this is that if you are not winning, like you say you aren't, it may not be because you're crap and maybe because you are actually trying to do the game justice and be adventurous. There are no doubt genius' who get twatted on a regular basis, with mediocre/awful stats, but who play it for PLEASURE and with brilliant CREATIVITY...they lose when the other guy playing watered-down pass n shoot, one dimensional football trounces him. Just my opinion like, but I think most of the successful onliners are very, very boring to watch. I really think they play like robots.

This is extremely true I find. I'd like to think of myself as an adventurous PES player, especially choosing "Random" teams on all occasions to give the game more spice. It's nice playing with different sides all the time, it's constantly refreshing and you feel excellent when you find a little gem of a team. Obviously it decreases your chances of winning in Ranked Matches as the majority care of Rank too much and opt for such annoying sides as Inter Milan and Barcelona as well as Chelsea. Whereas I play for sheer enjoyment like several other online gamers. However being beaten by someone who constantly attempts the "gay" cut-back goal is unarguably the most irritating feeling possible. It displays no creativity, no pride, no adventure, no skill and no fun. Whereas mixing things up is superb, playing a nice passing game, as well as good wing play and crossing, combined with long range shots and chips. What I love to do is also throw in tricks, stepovers and the 360-spin being my favourites. They usually work maybe 4/10 times but it's worth it as when you do pull off a perfect 360-spin to glide past an opponent, it's an amazing feeling.

Exactly. I also know of someone who purposely goes as Saudi Arabia or some random poor/mediocre team, who absolutely loves beating people who choose Brazil...especially the spoil sports. :D
