back to the orignal post. i think it might have different features. lets remind our selfs of pes6 on the 360. there was no edit mode? maybe the same again? i duno but theres bound to be some differences besides from graphics. so dont be too surpriced

omg dont even use that game in ur posts to give examples. that game was rushed cause of microsoft(they wanted konami to make a PEs game asap) and konami admitted that it was a bad and rushed PES but they said they will make up for it in PES7

For everyone who's convinced there will be major differences on the PS3 version (it may happen). But look at it this way, it's not logically smart for Seabass and co to do this, mainly because a lot of XBOX nuts won't be happy and could potentially boycot buying it and some people are so nuts about video games it could start riots. It just wouldn't be smart of them to make the game totally different for each console...

Agreed. It would be gaming suicide. There would be mass riots at launch parties, and lots of mess Even is they put one feature in the 360 version and not in the PS3 and vice-versa people would still be pissed off. I just don't see any way of it happening. I also think that graphics will be very similar. As of yet i haven't seen any great graphical differance on a game that is for both the 360 and PS3.

all these folks saying that the blu ray is bigger ect and thats why the game will be better on ps3 are forgetting that the data could easily be spread across 2dvds,this use to be common practice and wasnt too annoying.look at the 1st mgs and what about the 4discs of final fantasy!!!!i doubt xbox will od this specially for a game like pes but thats coz i doubt theyl need to.this topic has become tiresome

the only reason the 360 verson was diff in the first place is coz konami rushed it and it was there first go at the 360

sony dont have the exclusive games like they used to and no other game has been compremised when moveing to the xbox so what makes pro evo any diffrent

gta same, pro evo was the same when on the orginal xbox it had the same features and edit mode and all that. guitar hero came to 360 and had more content than the playstaion, 360 has forza which is better than grand turismo an so on

why do people think the 360 version will has less stuff its just silly

all 360 and PS3 games have been identical up to now (apart from the odd few on PS3 not offering net play) but both will be the same, people are stupid - special deals with Sony come on!

Also the game will not be 36GB Sony have enlarged disc sizes because they have 3 or 4 versions of the same game on one disc to cover all regions hence why the console is region free for games.

I have neither, just a ps2 at the moment the but the only thing that woud sway me to one or another would be the controller, if the games are identical that is. I'd probably prefer the ps3 version just because I find the controller so much more comfy and easy to navigate...but now I just need a few hundred quid!

I used to think the same until I got a 360 for Christmas that is. Now the PS2 controller feels completely wierd, you'll adapt to anything if you play it enough. I'm currently loving every minute of the 360, and it's wide selection of games.

I had the PS2 and XBOX and I preferred the PS2 controller by a mile, but now I have the 360 and I love the controller, its a perfect fit for the hand + you'd eventually get used to it anyway. Plus I was at my mates the other day playing his PS3 and I swear the controller seems so odd to me now! like it feels too small and uncomfy just because I'm used to the 360 pad.


EDIT: Surely this settles the argument of whether it'll be different on PS3/360?

Secondly the editor claims that there should be no graphical differences between the Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the game. That last comment is sure to stir up the fanboy wars!

It also says that PES2008 will be exact same over the world (USA,ASIA,UK) so does this mean that they may include teams from the J-League or MLS - or even full leagues? And will this mean that you can play people from all over the world online?
