The Official Pro Evo 2008 Updates & New Pics Thread

I'm not much of a gaming man and only really occasionally play on Pro Evo, so I'm not really as informed as some. But I've never understood why they dont just hoy in as many teams and stadiums as possible? It can't be that hard to add say, the entire English leagues as opposed to just the Premiership, and I bet sales would increase with fans of lower league clubs buying it.

Sorry boys...Seabass has said PC is the lead platform. ;)

I wouldn't read too much into that beta preview. Firstly it's still rough code and secondly, it's a translation of a preview of a rough code! Having said that, I still think we are set for the trend to continue of every odd-numbered PES to be quality.

I think people has misunderstood the licensing issue. The guy only presumed Man Utd were licensed because Ronaldo is on the cover. Being from Scandinavia, he wouldn't be aware that being on the cover doesn't gaurantee licensing as we saw with Terry on the UK cover of PES6. Chelsea weren't licensed then but maybe whoever was present on the Scandinavian cover was, giving him the impression of some kind of link. My tip is for Ronaldo to be on the cover in some kind of faux-Portugal kit thus avoiding an issues with the lack Man Utd license.
He was also perhaps unaware of the leaked screenshots that show Spurs and Newcastle as the ONLY 2 Premiership teams that are licensed. They wouldn't have these badges (especially a copyrighted Spurs badge) in the code if they hadn't come to an agreement to officially include them in the game. I am 100% confident that this will still be the case by the time the game is released.

Ive rejigged my holiday plans so i end up stopping by Leipzig. 26 Oct cant come quick enough. Leipzig will have to do in the meantime. Bring on PES 2008!!!!

I think they should just let everyone use the licenses just by request, it makes it an unfair market if the richest can just buy them all up its stupid to say the least. But EA know that if Konami did get these they would easily outsell Fifa by a mile. At least we should be able to edit them all so shouldn't be too bad...hopefully they will include up to date kit templates so they look just as if it had been licensed

They should allow more logo slots on the shirts and allow more freedom on where to put logos like on the city shirts the brand is just below the shoulder

yer mate i would like to see, about 9-10 slots where you can put letters/logos/other thing and then once thats made you then have a complete free roam of the shirt so you can put it where ever you want to whether it be neck lower back what ever but just complete freedom of the shirt.

also a 3rd kit would be awesome as well be really good for EU nights etc.

I like the idea of third kits since alot of teams have them now...or use last seasons away kit. They should let you kind of draw straight onto the shirt to put on designs that are a slight different colour from the shirt like alot of the world cup puma kits had and also for different parts of the shirt let you use different textures..for example under the arms and down the side its usually a material with lots of holes or certain parts are more shiny

If they dont have 3rd shirt it'll be annoying for me using City against, Birmingham, West Ham and Villa due to their shirts being alike to our home and away.

Good work yet again my man.

I notice it says points, what happened to real money? Unless they are popularity points or something.

I hope you can still start a ML with whoever you want and have an option to edit the leagues.
