Basically you said FIFA would be better if it had the better gameplay because their presentation is better (which it is) and all I said was thats a stupid thing to say because I could say Pro would be better if it had the better presentation... (But Pro is better anyway with the poorer presentation because PES' gameplay is alot better than FIFA's).
Hence the reason I said it would take longer for FIFA to get to PES' gameplay than it would for PES to get to FIFA's presentation standards.

I just think it was a stupid thing to say because you could make that statement about any 2 rival games like Halo and Killzone for example.
You could say if Killzone had this it would be better than Halo...

despite being an ardent pro fan its nothing to be ashamed of buying fifa as it will keep you occupied for a few weeks, or maybe hours. This is pathetic but i do feel slighlty guilty on the odd occassion i have bought fifa. The last time i bought it was in 2006 when the game felt like a simulation for the first time but i dont thnik the gameplay has evolved enough since then,(although some people could say the same about pes).

Right, the difference is that PES has been refining its gameplay for a loooong time, so it'll logically be more cohesive and polished. Some people, like me, would go as far as to say that they've been refining the game for too long. Hopefully next gen versions will bring about things which are really new.

i do agree with that to some extent and i do feel konami have rested on there lorels.

ummm this feature has been in pro evo since the 3rd edition.
Konami just dont promote it as a gimmick like EA do. konami actually took the idea off an earlier football game made by sega...cant think of the name....


anyway you just change the cursor frequency to "fixed" and you are one player for the whole game....look it up in the manual, my explanation is crap.
