I have just bought a copy of pes7 for the PC. Now... I have installed it (twice), everything went fine, then as soon as I go to play it, I get this error message???? What the hell???

I don't have any idea what else to do??

Does anyone know how I can fix this?

Which edition of Windows are you using, how much RAM do you have, are there any conflicts in the Device Manager (located in Control Panel -> System Manager) and have you rebooted the computer since it happened the first time around in order to flush your RAM of any niggling problems?

1gb corsair
8800gtx 768mb

I've restarted the computer countless amounts of times but nothing, just same old.

I really don't understand any of this!! I have pes6 and that runs perfect, its understandable that its a different game, but its not the point.

What do you mean by conflicts in the device manager?

Your system specs don't seem strange or anything so I doubt there's a problem. If you go into the Device Manager (under the Hardware tab in System Manager), sometimes a driver/peripheral will come up with an exclamation mark next to it which means it has a problem/conflict. Just wondering if you have any. Also, do you have any CD burning software installed?

btw whats that AMD 4200x2 like? ive just ordered that cpu and was wondering what the performance is like. does pes make use of dual core cpus?

Thats a no then, everything there seems to be working fine.

About the burning software, yes, I have a few... But would any of these cause the problem? They haven't caused any problems with other games.

If you think thats the problem, reckon I should remove all of them, then see what happens?

Its ok I suppose, was good at its time, but now it feels a bit slow with all the new games coming out. If you have the money, I'd recommend Inter care 2 duo/quad. Thats what I'll be getting next. First off, I'm going to smash the crap out of this pes cd.

I would start removing the CD burning software one by one and try again. With some programs (due to the security types used on some of the CDs) they detect these problems and refuse to run.

Nero is the least likely to cause a problem. Something like Daemon Tools or Alcohol 120 is much more likely.

try putting the error code in google and see if its a commen problem and theres a way to fix it usually something simple fixes these things

I have now formatted my PC, after a massive nightmare!! Anyways... Now after installing pes, I get another god damn ERROR!

Visual C++ runtime error which has to terminate???

What the hell am I doing wrong now??
