has anyone here in the states gotten their copy of PES 2008, i pre order from shopto and i'm still waiting. if you got it, was it what you
expected?

I got the PS3 version yesterday. Had a friend ship it to me.

So far Id say I enjoy it. Im a little thrown off by the speed of the game (a bit faster than PES6 which was fast already). I guess its going to take some getting use to like from pes5 to pes6. The slowdowns are there on the replays from time to time but that doesnt bother me. As for the graphics i havent rated it yet since i havent hooked it up to a HDtV.

Having played 5 games so far my initial review would be a B. On an HD I might give it a B+. It might go up though after option files, playing time, and future konami patches.

I haven't tried online yet. I know its messed up though.

I think the American Version coming out in Feb (I think) will be better.

Im in FL. Ordered it thru amazon UK had it shipped to him in Paris. He shipped it thru his company FedEx overnight :).

i'm still waiting for this damn game, people in other forums in huston and texas and even canada have gotten it from shopto.net, and i'm
still waiting, does anyone now if the ps3 demo can be played by us people in the states
